    Rabada has represented Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, and Gujarat Titans during his IPL career. In 98 matches, he has taken 143 wickets at an impressive average of 22.55, including six four-wicket hauls. His ability to dominate high-pressure contests has made him one of the finest overseas pacers to play in the tournament.

    4/21 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 2019

    One of Rabada’s finest IPL spells came against Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the 20th match of IPL 2019. Playing for Delhi Capitals, Rabada delivered a brilliant performance with the ball to restrict RCB to 149/8. Virat Kohli top-scored with 41, while Moeen Ali added 31 runs. Rabada used his pace and sharp variations brilliantly, finishing with outstanding figures of 4/21. Chris Morris also supported well with 2/28.

    Chasing 150, Delhi Capitals reached the target in 18.5 overs. Shreyas Iyer anchored the innings superbly with 67 runs, guiding his side to victory. Rabada’s fiery spell proved decisive as Delhi secured an important win away from home.

    4/24 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 2020

    Rabada once again tormented Royal Challengers Bengaluru during IPL 2020 with another sensational bowling performance. Delhi Capitals posted a strong total of 196/4 after impressive contributions from Marcus Stoinis (53), Prithvi Shaw (42), and Rishabh Pant (37). For RCB, Mohammed Siraj picked up two wickets 

    Defending a big total, Rabada led Delhi’s bowling attack brilliantly and completely derailed the RCB batting lineup. Despite a fighting 43 from Virat Kohli, RCB managed only 137/9 in their 20 overs. Rabada finished with figures of 4/24, while Anrich Nortje and Axar Patel chipped in with two wickets each. Delhi Capitals eventually secured a dominant 59-run victory, with Rabada once again proving why he was regarded as one of the best fast bowlers in the tournament.

    4/33 vs Gujarat Titans, 2022 

    After moving to Punjab Kings in IPL 2022, Rabada continued his outstanding form with a match-winning spell against Gujarat Titans at the DY Patil Stadium. Batting first, Gujarat Titans struggled against Punjab’s disciplined bowling attack and managed 143/8. Sai Sudharsan fought hard with an unbeaten 65, but Rabada’s aggressive spell ensured Gujarat never gained momentum. The South African pacer finished with excellent figures of 4/33, consistently picking up wickets at key moments. 

    In reply, Punjab Kings chased down the target comfortably in just 16 overs. Shikhar Dhawan remained unbeaten on 62, while Bhanuka Rajapaksa contributed a quickfire 40 to guide Punjab to victory. Rabada’s all-round control and wicket-taking ability made him the standout performer of the match, once again highlighting his value as a premier IPL fast bowler.

    OTD 2015 England pulled off a hard-fought win against New Zealand at Lord’s

    New Zealand travelled to the United Kingdom to play two Tests, five ODIs, and a solitary T20I against England during the English summer. The Kiwis won their two tour matches ahead of the Test series, beating Somerset by 66 runs and Worcestershire by 15 runs. The first Test was set to be played at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum won the toss and opted to field first. His bowlers were excellent with the new ball. Trent Boult, Tim Southee, and Matt Henry caused all sorts of problems for the England top order and took four wickets inside the first 13 overs. The Three Lions were struggling at 30/4. Ben Stokes joined forces with Joe Root and forged a brilliant partnership. The former took the counter-attacking approach, while Root held the innings together. Stokes was eventually dismissed for a 94-ball 92 after adding a 131-run stand with Root.  The latter also missed out on a century, as he was dismissed for 98. Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali scored crucial half-centuries as the hosts finished on 389. Boult and Henry took four wickets each. In reply, New Zealand openers Martin Guptill and Tom Latham got their team off to a fantastic start. They added 148 runs before being dismissed in consecutive overs. Guptill and Latham made 70 and 59, respectively. Ross Taylor and BJ Watling also scored solid half-centuries, but the star of the show for the Black Caps was Kane Williamson, who amassed 132 off 262 balls. New Zealand took a massive first-innings lead of 134 runs after being bowled out for a massive 523. Stuart Broad, Mark Wood, and Moeen took three wickets apiece. England needed a strong batting effort in their second innings. They lost two quick wickets before skipper Alastair Cook and Ian Bell steadied the ship. However, the latter failed to convert his start into a substantial score. Root contributed handsomely once again, as he made 84 off 139 balls. Stokes, once again, played a blinder, and this time he notched up three figures. He was eventually dismissed for 101 off just 92 balls. However, the top scorer for England was Cook, who made a patient 162 off 345 balls, hitting 17 fours. The home team was eventually bowled out for 478. Boult followed up his four-for in the first innings with a five-wicket haul in the second. New Zealand needed 345 to win in the fourth innings. While Watling and Corey Anderson did manage to score half-centuries, the touring side was rolled over for 220 in 67.3 overs. Stuart Broad and Stokes took three wickets apiece for England as they won the match by 124 runs. Stokes was the Player of the Match for his all-round efforts in the clash.
