However, Narine completely changed the course of the  match with a sensational spell of spin bowling. He tore through the middle and lower order, finishing with remarkable figures of 6/27. His variations and clever changes of pace left the South African batters struggling throughout the innings. Carlos Brathwaite also chipped in with two wickets as South Africa were restricted to 188.

4/12 vs New Zealand, Lauderhill, 2012
