Yuvraj Samra is expected to continue opening the innings after showing impressive intent against Belfast Wolves.
The Canadian batter scored an unbeaten 19 off 11 balls in the rain-shortened contest, striking at 172.73. He had earlier shown his ability to attack during the Powerplay and will be keen to convert his aggressive starts into a substantial innings.
Steve Smith should partner him at the top. The former Australian captain has brought considerable experience to Amsterdam’s batting unit and produced a rapid 20 off 10 balls against Belfast, including two sixes.
Smith’s ability to absorb pressure before accelerating makes him an ideal partner for the more aggressive Samra.
Bas de Leede should occupy the No. 3 position.

The Ireland international adds valuable balance to the lineup and can contribute in both departments. His ability to bowl seam-up deliveries gives Amsterdam an additional option if one of their frontline bowlers has an expensive spell.
Campher’s batting could also become particularly important if the Flames lose wickets during the middle overs.
Captain Scott Edwards is likely to continue behind the stumps while batting at No. 6.
The Netherlands captain is one of the most experienced players in the Amsterdam squad and provides composure in the middle order. He can rotate the strike effectively and accelerate when the situation demands it.
