South Africa will be aiming to make it three consecutive victories when they take on Namibia in Match 6 of the T20I Tri-Series 2026 at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek on September 4. The Proteas have recovered impressively from their 18-run defeat against the hosts in the tournament opener, registering back-to-back wins over Zimbabwe.
The latest victory was particularly comprehensive, with South Africa beating Zimbabwe by 43 runs. Lhuan-dre Pretorius smashed a career-best 94 off 51 balls, while Bjorn Fortuin and Duan Jansen combined for seven wickets to dismantle Zimbabwe’s chase.
South Africa’s young squad has therefore found considerable momentum heading into the reverse fixture against Namibia. With the majority of the XI clicking, the Proteas could retain the same combination for Match 6.
1. Jordan Hermann
Jordan Hermann is likely to continue at the top of the order. The left-hander provides a solid option alongside Pretorius and has the ability to exploit the fielding restrictions during the Powerplay.

Dewald Brevis has been one of South Africa’s most dangerous batters in the tournament. He scored a magnificent 75 in the opening defeat to Namibia and followed it with another aggressive contribution against Zimbabwe.
His ability to change the complexion of an innings within a few overs makes him a key player at No. 3.
4. Connor Esterhuizen (WK)
Connor Esterhuizen is expected to retain the wicketkeeping duties. The youngster gives South Africa another attacking batting option and has already been trusted in the middle order during the series.
