Balasubramaniam Sachin is an obvious choice after his match-winning performance against Trichy Grand Cholas.
The right-handed batter scored a brilliant 77 off 45 balls, smashing six fours and four sixes at a strike rate of 171.11. More importantly, he played a crucial role in rebuilding the Kovai innings after the team lost wickets during the middle overs.

Captain Shahrukh Khan remains one of the biggest names in the VIDA Kovai Kings squad and will be crucial to their chances against Chepauk.
The powerful middle-order batter is capable of changing a T20 match within a matter of a few overs. His ability to clear the boundary consistently makes him particularly dangerous during the death overs, when even a modest platform can be converted into a substantial total.

His performance could be particularly important against Chepauk’s explosive batting lineup.
The Super Gillies have shown that they can score at an extraordinary rate, with their top order combining for 240/2 in their previous game. Mokit Hariharan’s 108 off 50 balls and Jagadeesan’s 79 off 48 deliveries highlighted just how destructive Chepauk can be.
Subramanyan will therefore need to bring the same discipline that he displayed against Trichy. Giving Chepauk’s batters easy scoring opportunities could prove extremely costly.
His ability to pick up wickets will also be vital. If Kovai can remove one or two of Chepauk’s in-form top-order batters early, they could prevent the hosts from establishing another huge total.
